CISF joins Hockey India as Associate member

Paramilitary force Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has become the new Associate member of Hockey India, which will pave the way for their participation  in all national championships in future.

CISF which under Ministry of Home Affairs provides integrated security cover to the Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), has over the past few years grown in stature and build a number of teams featuring international/national level sports persons.

It may be noted that CISF had come up with an  CISF Sports Person Recruitment
initiative last year, which contributed immensely to Indian sports.

Hockey India currently has 26 Permanent Member units, 20 Associate Members, 2 Members through State Olympic Associations, 5 Academy Members and 1 Hoc-Key Member.
