4th Sub-Junior Men’s Nationals: Odisha meet Delhi in final



Hockey Odisha have set up a final date with Delhi in the 4th National Sub-Junior Men’s ‘B’ Division Hockey Championship being played at Vadodara, Gujarat.

The Odisha outfit rode on a Pratap Lakra goal to pip Sports Authority of India (SAI) by a solitary goal, while Delhi trounced hosts Gujarat 8-0 in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, there was more good news for Odisha as they thumped Bihar 5-0 in a Pool C tie in the 4th Hockey India Sub- Junior Women National Championship (Division B) played at Haldwani, Uttarakhand. 

In another Pool C match Goa drew Puducherry 2-2. Punjab bulldozed Jammu & Kashmir 22-0 in Pool C while Mizoram swamped Manipur 7-0.
