4th Sub-Junior Nationals: Delhi bulldoze Rajasthan 13-0


Delhi bulldozed Rajasthan 13-0 in a Pool B tie to chalk up their second win on the trot in the 4th National Sub-Junior Men’s ‘B’ Division Hockey Championship being played at Vadodara, Gujarat. Kuldeep ran riot firing a quick first-half hat-trick before Arun Kumar added another to enable their side go into the half-time break with a commanding 4-0 lead.

It was Arun Kumar who started the onslaught in the second half before Kuldeep struck twice in quick succession to compound the woes of Rajasthan. Mohit Anand and Aman Minj also got into the goal-scoring act before Neeraj Kumar came up with a brace to make it a one-way traffic. Aman Minj netted the twelvth goal before Kuldeep fittingly completed a double hat-trick to nail home a mighty 13-0 win.

In Pool A Bihar routed Jammu &Kashmir 10-2, while in Pool C Uttarakhand hammered Goa 9-0.
