4th Men's Sub-Junior Nationals: Sensational 6-Star Sahil powers Himachal to 6-2 win over Rajasthan


Himachal Pradesh lifted themselves from their narrow 1-2 defeat to Delhi and posted an impressive 6-2 win over Rajasthan in a Pool A game in the 4th National Sub-Junior Men’s ‘B’ Division Hockey Championship being played at Vadodara, Gujarat.
The highlight of the match was a stupendous effort by Sahil Kumar, who scored all his team’s six goals. Sahil kickstarted the decimation job opening the account in the 9th minute before extending the lead two minutes later.
The Himachal forward quickly wrapped up his hat-trick in the 25th minute and went on to add one more to his tally to put his side in the driver’s seat with a 4-0 lead at half-time.
Sahil's hunger for goals continued as he scored early in the second half and completed a fantastic double hat-trick in the final minute of play to cap off a resounding Himachal win.
In another Pool A match Jammu & Kashmir drew Assam 2-2, while Bihar humbled Vidarbha 4-1.
