beat Qatar 3-1 to top Pool A in the Asian Games Men’s Hockey Qualifiers being
played at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in Dhaka Ali Ghabish pulled Oman
ahead before Qatar levelled things through Ali Sheraz.

Oman earlier had beaten Chinese Taipei 1-0 and Sri Lanka 3-2 in their first two games.In another Pool A game Sri Lanka pipped Chinese Taipei 3-2.
It may
be noted that the top six finishers will qualify for the 2014 Asian Games to be
held in Incheon, Korea in September.
