Indian hockey women hockey player Rani Rampal turns 19

Indian women’s hockey’s most exciting talent – Rani Rampal turned 19 today. The Shahbad girl, was part of the national team in the 9th Asia Cup in Ipoh, where she slammed a whopping seven goals against Hong Kong in the league phase – helping her side to bag a bronze beating China 3-2 in a penalty shootout after being tied 2-2 in regulation time.

The nimble-footed striker also featured in the 3rd Asian Champions Trophy in Kakamigahara, Japan, where India pocketed the silver losing to Japan in the final.

She missed the Hockey World League semifinals in Rotterdam before unleashing her best in the Junior World Cup in Monchengladbach, Germany – playing her part in India making a podium finish – garnering a bronze for the first time ever.

Hockey Passion wishes Rani Rampal a Very Happy Birthday and hopes the occasion rings in more success and prosperity in his life.
