Midfielder Sardar Singh will lead the 21-member Indian
senior men’s hockey team for the upcoming exposure trip of the Netherlands.
Drag-flicker Rupinder Pal Singh has been named the vice-captain of the side.
The squad includes experienced medio Gurbaj Singh as well as the likes of Walmiki brothers – Yuvraj and Devinder and Lalit Upadhyay. Penalty corner ace Sandeep Singh is not part of the squad. The team will play five matches – two against the Dutch national side and one against the Belgium national side. They will play a game each against Dutch club sides – Leiden and HGC.
