3-0 in Ipoh.
The Asian giants were off to a cracking start pulling ahead in the 7th minute through Jang Jomg Hyun. The Koreans soared in confidence after the opening goal and breached the Canadian defence for the second time when Kang Moon Kweon made it 2-0 in the 11th minute.

Canada were clearly perturbed by the pace of the Koreans and had little answers to the questions posed by their opponents. Kang Moon Kweon fired home a penalty corner to take his side into half-time break with a cozy 3-0 lead.
Canada needed to fight hard in the second half and did force as many as three short corners, but failed to make the most of any of them.
